In an effort to make this space as accessible as possible to individuals impacted by the failed drug war, as well as to honor our vision for the conference, the Texas Harm Reduction Conference will offer full scholarships to:
167 People with Lived Experience with substances (past or present) who ALSO
One does not have to have experience with every one of these categories listed to qualify for a scholarship. 167 scholarships are 1/3 of the conference capacity. We are being intentional about offering access to those who have been the most negatively affected by the failed drug war across the state of Texas.
This information is entirely confidential. We don’t need you to share any information that’s personal to you. You don’t have to qualify this information with any proof. We trust you and your experiences, as you define them. We are creating a safe space for you.
Click here to register for the conference and apply for a scholarship. Once on the Eventbrite site, click "Tickets". Once on the Tickets page, choose "Scholarship" and follow the prompts. Deadline to apply for a scholarship is June 12, 2020. We are unable to offer transportation assistance.
If you have agency support for conference attendance or the ability to pay for the registration fee, we ask that you do not apply for a scholarship.
