In an effort to make this space as accessible as possible to individuals impacted by the failed drug war, as well as to honor our vision for the conference, the Texas Harm Reduction Conference will offer full scholarships to:

167 People with Lived Experience with substances (past or present) who ALSO

  • Are people of color
  • Are transgender and/or non-gender conforming
  • Are living with HIV and/or Hepatitis B or C
  • Have engaged in sex work (past or present)
  • Have experienced incarceration
  • Have experienced homelessness or housing vulnerability (past or present)

One does not have to have experience with every one of these categories listed to qualify for a scholarship. 167 scholarships are 1/3 of the conference capacity. We are being intentional about offering access to those who have been the most negatively affected by the failed drug war across the state of Texas.

Your investment in these evidence-based principles will bring Texans together to learn and collaborate about the issues affecting people who  use substances today. This event will bring together people affected by the failed drug war and the people who love them, promoting networking and sharing that has been integral to the work thus far. Your donation is important to making this event a success.
